Parents should avoid submitting information about a child that is not necessary for finding or communicating with a Tutor.

• profile photograph
• apartment/community
• teaching experience
• classes/levels taught
• subjects
• competitive-exam expertise
• teaching location
• languages
• availability
• tuition fees
• profile description and other teaching-related information

Tutors may also upload documentation to support apartment-residency verification.

Residency documents are treated as private verification documents and are not displayed publicly.

D. Search and demand information

To understand what Parents are looking for and improve ClassNextDoor, we may record information such as:

• apartment/community searched
• class or level
• subject or exam
• apartment-based or nearby search
• approximate search radius where applicable
• number of Tutor results returned
• requests for apartments not yet served
• requests for unsupported classes, subjects or learning categories

We use this information to understand demand and improve Tutor availability.

We do not need to store precise home addresses for demand analytics.

E. Technical and security information

We may process technical information necessary to operate and secure the platform, such as:

• session information
• authentication events
• browser/device-related information
• timestamps
• error logs
• security logs

• create and maintain Parent and Tutor accounts
• authenticate users
• help Parents discover Tutors

We do not sell users' personal information to advertisers.

3. Public Tutor profile information

Certain information belonging to approved Tutors is intended to be publicly visible, including information such as:

• Tutor name
• profile photograph
• apartment/community
• classes and subjects
• teaching experience
• indicative or starting tuition fee
• Tutor description
• teaching-related information
• applicable ClassNextDoor verification badge

Private verification documents are not part of the public Tutor profile.

4. Apartment resident verification

Where a Tutor displays a “Verified Apartment Resident” badge, it means ClassNextDoor has reviewed evidence relating to that Tutor's connection to the listed apartment/community.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, this badge does NOT mean that ClassNextDoor has completed:

• police verification
• criminal background verification
• identity verification
• qualification verification
• employment verification
• teaching-quality certification

Parents should independently assess whether a Tutor is suitable for their child.

5. How information may be shared

A. Between Parents and Tutors

Information necessary to facilitate an enquiry or demo request may be made available to the relevant Parent or Tutor.

B. Service providers

We may use third-party infrastructure and technology providers for:

• authentication
• hosting
• databases
• storage
• security
• technical operations

These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services to us.

C. Legal and safety purposes

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

• comply with applicable law or lawful requests
• protect users
• investigate fraud or abuse

Tutor residency documents are not made publicly available.

6. Google sign-in

ClassNextDoor uses Google authentication.

Google may process information according to its own privacy practices.

ClassNextDoor receives only information made available through the authentication process and does not receive your Google password.

11. Search and demand analytics

ClassNextDoor may aggregate search and demand information to understand:

• where Tutors are needed
• which classes and subjects have insufficient supply
• which apartment communities request ClassNextDoor
• which additional learning categories Parents are requesting

This information helps us decide where and how ClassNextDoor should expand.

12. Third-party links

ClassNextDoor may contain links to third-party websites or services.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as ClassNextDoor develops.
